NatWest Intermediary Solutions has appointed two new business development managers (BDMs).

Rhys Powell joins as a field BDM and will be working alongside brokers in Wales.

He has spent the last six years working in the mortgage sector, with experience as a BDM. He also has a background as a personal mortgage adviser and branch manager.

Lawrence Barratt joins as a field BDM to work with brokers in the London and Surrey region. He has over 10 years sales and service experience and has been with the bank for four years, with his last role being a personal mortgage adviser.

Mark Bullard, head of sales at NatWest Intermediary Solutions, said: “I am delighted to further increase the geographic coverage we can offer brokers.

“Rhys and Lawrence join a team that is working hard to support mortgage intermediaries in our new operational structure.

“The new additions will bring energy, knowledge and a willingness to help – important qualities needed to be a successful business development manager.”
