My Care Consultant provides customer-facing adviser guide with Pure Retirement

Published on

Pure Retirement has supported My Care Consultant’s Care Box platform through its sponsorship of a new guide, ‘Paying for care: important things your family should know’.

The new literature has been designed for financial advisers to share with their clients, prospective clients, and professional connections (such as local care providers and solicitors), to highlight the importance of financial advice in the care planning process and to signpost access to their service at the earliest opportunity.

This new guide aims to help advisers to strengthen relationships with local professional connections and generate new client referrals. The guide is available to Care Box subscribers through the platform’s ‘Adviser Toolkit’, with the option to request up to 20 hard copies free of charge courtesy of Pure Retirement.

This new development is part of a longstanding cross-industry working relationship between Pure Retirement and My Care Consultant, which has previously helped in the creation of My Care Consultant’s 30-page booklet: ‘Your guide to getting the care you need’ and the sponsorship of free Care Box memberships for advisers. More recently the working collaboration supported the Equity Release Council’s 2021 report, ‘Solving the social care funding crisis: perspectives on the contribution of property wealth’.

Care Box is a subscription-based online resource created by independent care navigator firm, My Care Consultant, designed for financial advisers, paraplanners, technical and compliance professionals operating across the UK. It provides up-to-date and comprehensive technical and business development content (offering a valuable source of CPD), held all in one place, supporting both non-regulated and regulated care and later life advice.

Rachel Pease, Pure Retirement’s head of marketing, said: “It’s great to continue our mutually supportive working relationship with My Care Consultant and continue collaborating to provide advisers with the resources they need to best serve their customers.

“We’re two organisations dedicated to helping advisers find the best solutions for their later life clients, and the creation of this new guide is the next step in the journey, working towards this goal.”

My Care Consultant’s Jacqueline Berry added: “It’s really important especially in these challenging times that financial advisers make their clients, potential clients and professional connections aware of the critical role they play in providing ‘paying for care advice’.

“We hope this new guide helps advisers do just that and we’re delighted to continue working with Pure Retirement to produce resources that will be invaluable for consumers seeking to get the get the care they need and in the case of those paying for their own care, advice as to the best way to do so.”
