Mortgage Advice Bureau has embarked a three-year sponsorship deal with Derby County Football Club.

The mortgage broker network become the Championship side’s preferred mortgage partner.

Mortgage Advice Bureau employs over 100 staff in its head office on Pride Park in Derby. It says the deal means it will be “very visible” at Derby County’s iPro Stadium from now on and its local mortgage advisers, Rob Brookes and his team, will be visiting the stadium regularly, offering mortgage and protection insurance reviews to Derby fans in hospitality boxes overlooking the pitch.

Supporters who do decide to get some local mortgage advice will receive match tickets and be entered in a prize draw to win tickets for lunch with manager Steve McClaren and attend a training session at Derby County Training Centre.

Derby County’s president and chief executive Sam Rush, said: “It’s great to welcome Mortgage Advice Bureau on board here at Derby County, especially because they are a local employer serving local people.”

Peter Brodnicki, Mortgage Advice Bureau’s chief executive, added: “As a Derby-based business we’re looking forward to building a really strong partnership with Derby County in the coming years.

“Our recent listing on AIM shows how ambitious we are on a national scale but, given our Derby roots, it’s appropriate that we sign our first sponsorship deal with our local club.”
