ModaMortgages adds eight buy-to-let products at 80% LTV

ModaMortgages has introduced eight additional buy-to-let products at 80% loan-to-value (LTV), extending its options for individual and limited company landlords.

The new products are available to landlords financing single residential properties, houses in multiple occupation (HMOs) and multi-unit freehold blocks (MUFBs) containing up to six bedrooms or units.

Borrowers can choose between two-year and five-year fixed rates, with product fee options of 2% and 5%.

Free valuations are available across all eligible property types, including HMOs and MUFBs, while product fees can be added to the loan up to the maximum 80% LTV.

The lender has also confirmed that pound-for-pound remortgages on its two-year fixed rate products will be stress-tested at the pay rate up to 80% gross LTV.

The expansion gives brokers additional options for landlords seeking higher-leverage borrowing, whether to finance further acquisitions or retain capital for other property investments.

Becki Fraser-Tucker (pictured), head of sales at ModaMortgages, said: “We’re really excited to be giving brokers and their clients even more choice at 80% LTV.

“For landlords, having that extra capacity can make a real difference. It could mean getting that next purchase over the line sooner, keeping more cash back for improvements or having the flexibility to take the next step in growing a portfolio.

“We want to help brokers find solutions for more of their landlord clients, and adding these new products makes our 80% LTV offering stronger than ever.”
