Mobile usage driving record Zoopla visits

Property search website Zoopla.co.uk has cited record usage levels of its mobile apps as a key reason for seeing the highest ever level of visits to its website during the first half of January.

The number of home-movers visiting Zoopla totalled three million in the second week of January alone with over 450,000 in a single day – a new daily record for the property website.

Zoopla also said that mobile application usage now represents almost 15% of all its traffic volumes.

Alex Chesterman, founder and CEO of Zoopla, said: “Our current multi-million pound marketing campaign is designed to increase our brand awareness and deliver even stronger results for our agent members.
