L&G Network launches iPhone app

Published on

Legal & General Network has launched a mortgage sourcing iPhone ‘app’ for its mortgage club members, developed by TrigoldCrystal.

The app allows brokers to search using basic borrower requirements such as loan amount, LTV and preferred rate type. The results can be sorted according to criteria such as initial rate, initial payment or total to pay, for example.

Once a quote has been generated, the results can be emailed to the adviser who can then make an appointment to go through the full quote and apply service in person.

Simon Maskell, director, technology at Legal & General said: “Many brokers use iPhone these days so this is a useful way for them to engage with clients whilst they are out and about without the need to boot up a laptop. It’s a mortgage sourcing tool in an innovative format which means that ‘point of sale’ can now be anywhere you can get mobile reception.””
