Landbay has appointed Sam Waterhouse as its new business development manager (BDM) for the Midlands.

Waterhouse (pictured) will take over Landbay’s key business relationships with intermediaries and other key partners in the Midlands, focusing on supporting continued growth.

He spent almost 12 years as a buy-to-let mortgage underwriter at Paragon Banking Group and has detailed knowledge of specialist underwriting to give confidence to intermediaries as he moves into his new business development role.

Rob Stanton, sales and distribution director at Landbay, said: “Landbay continues to go from strength to strength through our focus on brokers and their clients. We’re very pleased to welcome Sam, whose fantastic experience will further help consolidate and grow our position as the buy-to-let lender of choice.”

Waterhouse added: “I am passionate about buy-to-let and very excited to join Landbay which has a great reputation in the sector. I am looking forward to using my knowledge, experience, and proven relationship-building skills to help Landbay thrive in the Midlands.”
