JammJar adds AI document analysis and broker automation tools

Published on

JammJar has expanded its AI-powered operating system for mortgage advice firms with new document analysis, fact-find and automation tools aimed at reducing administration for brokers.

The updates were demonstrated during JammJar’s Summer ’26 launch webinar and include changes to its AI Assistant, which can now show advisers the wording and confidence level behind proposed fact-find updates taken directly from client conversations.

Advisers can review and accept suggested changes before they are written to the case record.

The platform has also introduced AI document analysis for bank statements and income documents. The system takes advisers through a four-stage review covering commitments, spending, flagged transactions and income.

JammJar said the review can be completed in around three to four minutes per case, with advisers retaining the ability to inspect and amend the information identified by the system.

A new Knowledge Base allows firms to upload their own processes, templates and partner scheme information, giving advisers access to answers drawn from their internal documents without having to search across separate files.

Protection business has also been integrated alongside the mortgage on the same record, with sourcing available through iPipeline’s Solution Builder. Selected product information and documents can then be synchronised back into JammJar.

The operating system now includes a communications hub bringing together email, portal messages, calls, SMS and calendar appointments for each case.

A customer portal supports document sharing and messaging, while a Record Meeting function can capture face-to-face conversations for use in fact-find updates and follow-up suggestions.

Firms can also create their own automations, including mortgage deal-end reminders and follow-up tasks, as well as generate reports by asking questions in plain English.

Karl Griffin (pictured), chief executive and co-founder of JammJar, said: “Most of the new features in this update come directly from broker feedback. Our customers are pushing us hard, and that’s exactly what we want.

“They’re showing us where the technology can do more, where things still take too long and how they want JammJar to work for their business.

“We’ve taken that feedback and put more power in their hands. The AI does more of the work, but advisers can see where the information has come from and decide what gets written to the case.

“And where we were previously the bottleneck, firms can now build their own automations and reports without waiting for us.

“We’ve always wanted JammJar to be one place where brokers can get their work done. These updates bring more of that together, helping advisers move through cases faster, stay in control and deliver a fantastic customer experience.”

The full webinar recording and further information are available on JammJar’s website, where firms with four or more advisers can also book a demonstration.
