Iress has extended its Lender Connect API integration with Acre, adding Coventry Building Society and Godiva Mortgages to the lenders available through the adviser platform.
The move means advisers using Acre can transfer client data held within their CRM directly into applications for Coventry Building Society and Godiva Mortgages products, reducing the amount of information that needs to be entered again.
Iress said the technology can save advisers up to 20 minutes per case, while reducing the potential for data-entry errors during the mortgage application process.
Lender Connect links adviser and lender systems and can pre-populate a significant proportion of both a decision in principle and a full mortgage application.
The technology is already available through Iress’s Xplan Mortgage and Trigold platforms, which have about 10,000 users between them, as well as through third-party systems including Acre, which has about 5,000 users.
Warren O’Connell, head of business development at Iress, said: “Building stronger connections between adviser and lender technology is essential to reducing administration and improving the client experience.
“It’s fantastic to see Lender Connect continue to grow as more lenders and technology partners come together to simplify the mortgage application journey.
“We’re delighted to be working with Coventry Building Society, Godiva Mortgages and Acre to extend the benefits of Lender Connect to more advisers, giving them a smoother journey from sourcing to application.”
Jonathan Stinton, head of intermediary relationships at Coventry Building Society, added: “We’re pleased to be expanding our Lender Connect functionality, making it easier for more brokers to work with us.
“By reducing administration and keeping key stages of the process in one place, brokers can spend more time supporting their clients.
“Once a decision in principle has been secured, they can move directly to our intermediary website to complete the application quickly and efficiently.
“This enhancement reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting brokers with the tools, technology and service they need to deliver the best possible outcomes for their clients.”
Justus Brown, managing director at Acre, said: “As part of our strategy of pushing validated case data directly to lenders, we’re further strengthening Acre’s sourcing capabilities by bringing another top lender, Coventry, onto the platform with the help of Iress.
“This gives advisers an even greater choice of mortgage lenders, enhancing the value they deliver to homeowners as they find the right products for their clients and accelerate lending to qualified borrowers.”
