BancTec has introduced Broker Portal, a web gateway that allows brokers to submit multiple mortgage applications to a lender’s website for straight-through processing.

“Any lender can now provide its broker network with secure, 24/7 online access to its suite of mortgage products,” said James Silcock, EMEA business development director at BancTec.

“With BancTec’s Broker Portal, registered brokers and intermediaries can instantly access a lender’s portfolio of financial products, submit mortgage case files and manage loan pipelines through a single web gateway that is fully configurable to the lender’s existing website.

“Simply put, the Broker Portal helps build stronger relationships with your intermediary partners.”

The Broker Portal offers self-service capabilities by allowing registered brokers to gain access to a lender’s origination system or multiple mortgage systems. It can accommodate broker-specific onboarding processes. The secure web gateway allows brokers to submit new business and track the status of a mortgage case from application to full completion.

“BancTec’s Broker Portal makes selecting mortgage products much easier and quicker for the broker,” added Silcock.

“For the lender it delivers a new sales channel, improves customer service levels, and reduces operating costs and mortgage completion times.”

  1. I've spent nearly two hours at their website, and I still don't know what they do and how I can use their services. Very poor website deployment. A whole mish-mash of information, and nothing solid to get a grip of.
