Fleet underwriter joins Complete FS office

Complete FS has announced its latest onsite underwriter addition with the appointment of Wayne Fitzpatrick from Fleet Mortgages.

Introducers will be able to discuss their enquiries and ongoing cases directly with the underwriter via Complete’s staff.

Tony Salentino, Complete FS director, said the positive impact on conversions has improved still further due to the consistency that comes from introducers gaining access to the same underwriter onsite.

He said: “We are delighted to welcome Fleet Mortgages’ Wayne Fitzpatrick as our latest onsite underwriter. Fleet Mortgages has been a strong supporter of the intermediary sector and having Wayne here in our offices underlines the commitment Fleet is making to our business and growing reputation as a packager which most effectively converts enquiries into completed cases.

“We are grateful to Fleet Mortgages for agreeing to send Wayne to join us. It takes our relationship to a new level. From all the evidence we have collated, the positive impact of an underwriter’s presence in house along with the access it gives our introducers makes our business proposition even stronger. We look forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship with Fleet Mortgages.”

Bob Young, CEO at Fleet Mortgages, added: “Wayne has been a key part of the underwriting team at Fleet for over a year but as we are growing our number of packager and distributor relationships, we felt it was important for us to provide access to onsite underwriting expertise.

“I am delighted that Complete FS have invited Wayne in as their latest onsite underwriter, and they will now benefit from having access to him to develop their understanding of Fleet’s criteria and proposition, and having him on hand to ensure they get the best support for their buy-to-let cases.”
