Dragonfly hires ops manager and internal BDM

Published on

Dragonfly Property Finance has recruited Hannah Mason as operations manager and Sam Wisker as an internal business development manager (IBDM).

Mason (pictured) has over 11 years’ experience working within financial services, most recently at Credit Suisse, where, in her role as a transaction specialist, she ensured all trades were accurately reported to the FCA. Prior to Credit Suisse, she worked as a cash and transactions manager at Pantheon Ventures, a private equity firm based in London.

She is tasked with improving Dragonfly’s core processes and procedures, and also assessing the software and technologies underlying them. Her focus will be specifically to ensure brokers receive a more streamlined service and she will report into managing director, Mark Posniak.

Wisker has recently graduated from Bristol University where he studied Economics and Management. As an IBDM, his role will be to ensure all applications run smoothly and reach completion in the fastest possible timeframe and with the minimum fuss.

Posniak said: “Hannah and Sam are both great additions to our rapidly expanding team. Hannah’s extensive experience within the financial services industry, and knowledge of the FCA, will ensure she brings new insights to the way we work and the processes we have in place.

“Sam, meanwhile, represents our commitment to bringing new blood into the industry. Even though he’s only at the beginning of his career, he has the ability to make a mark of his own.”

“I have always wanted to work for a smaller company where I could have more input into the way it operates, and with Dragonfly that has finally happened,” said Mason. “Dragonfly is already an exceptionally well-run ship but I hope to be able to further improve its processes and procedures in order to deliver an even better service to brokers, their clients and all our partners.”

Wisker added:” When applying for graduate positions, Dragonfly stood out as a great company to work for. It was immediately clear that they have an exceptional track record and a clear vision for the future, and for someone at the beginning of their career that’s a huge draw.

“I was specifically looking for a job that was challenging and fast-paced, and working for Dragonfly is certainly that.”
