Don’t just focus on big banks for funding, SMEs told

Small business are continuing to struggle to get access to business finance as the stalemate between the banks and the government continues, according to Bibby Financial Services.

Edward Rimmer, the UK chief executive of specialist invoice financier Bibby Financial Services, said: “Much has been said of the recent analysis completed by the British Bankers Association’s of the credit profiles of small businesses. While I share some of the fears of those who have labeled it ‘a pointless exercise’
