Coventry for Intermediaries switches to 0800

Published on

From today, 1 July, brokers can now contact Coventry for Intermediaries for free on its new 0800 telephone numbers.

New Ofcom regulations state that freephone telephone numbers must be free for callers from mobiles as well as landlines. However,  the Coventry has gone one step further, changing all of its phone numbers to 0800 for both consumers and brokers.

As well as now being able to call the intermediary support team for free on 0800 121 7788 (available Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm), brokers can contact their business development manager (BDM) free of charge too.

Kevin Purvey, head of intermediaries, said: “With intermediaries being an integral part of our business, we wanted to make it as easy as possible for them to do business with us. We’re delighted to announce that they can now save costs on their business calls to us by using the new 0800 numbers for both our intermediary support team and their BDM, as well as still relying on us for excellent service and competitive rates for their clients.”
