Countrywide Surveying Services (CSS) has extended its valuation partnership with Coventry Building Society for a further five years.
Under the renewed agreement, CSS will continue to provide valuation services supporting the mutual’s residential and buy-to-let mortgage lending across the UK.
The contract has also been expanded to incorporate Co-op Bank, which is now a subsidiary of Coventry Building Society following its acquisition by the mutual.
CSS said the extended relationship would continue to focus on professional valuation standards, the adoption of new technology where appropriate and property risk assessment throughout the mortgage lending process.
PROPERTY RISK
Matthew Cumber (main picture), managing director at Countrywide Surveying Services, said: “Over the years, we’ve worked closely with Coventry Building Society to develop a valuation approach that balances efficiency with appropriate risk oversight.
“As property risk factors become more varied, whether that’s environmental considerations, changing property types or shifting market conditions, access to high-quality data and experienced professional judgement becomes even more important.
“The strength of long-standing relationships is that they create the foundation for continuous improvement, and we’re looking forward to building on our work with Coventry Building Society in the years ahead.”
FIVE-YEAR EXTENSION
Shelley Rodway, head of servicing mortgage operations at Coventry Building Society, added: “We are delighted to be extending our partnership with Countrywide Surveying Services for a further five years.
“Their expertise, service quality and commitment to our customers have made them a valued partner, and we look forward to continuing our successful relationship.”
