Ceta has added MGA Toledo to its insurer panel with the launch of a wholesale-only residential property owners product offering quote and bind for sums insured of up to £10 million.
The landlord product is designed for residential let property and is available to Ceta’s intermediary partners through its Infinity platform.
Distribution is restricted to the wholesale channel, with the product unavailable through price comparison websites and aggregators.
The policy is backed by A-rated capacity from Accellerant, while Ceta can also support book roll-overs for brokers looking to transfer existing portfolios where the risks meet the product’s appetite.
FURTHER PANEL EXPANSION PLANNED
Toledo becomes the fourth insurer on Ceta’s panel. The launch is also the first of three further products that the broker plans to introduce to its panel over the coming weeks.
The new landlord product is already live and writing business.
James O’Hara, commercial director at Ceta, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Toledo to the Ceta panel and to launch a product that gives our brokers a genuine point of difference in a very competitive market.
“The wholesale distribution is particularly significant – brokers can offer their landlord clients access to a product they cannot obtain through aggregators, while quote and bind up to £10m gives them another strong differentiator, particularly for larger risks where speed and ease of trading are critical.
“This is an important step in our strategy to build the strongest and most comprehensive panel in the market, giving brokers access to specialist products and capacity that help them win and retain business.
“It is also the first of a number of new products we will be bringing to the panel in the coming weeks, further strengthening and broadening our proposition.”
