Another firm signs up to SAFEagent

Sequence has become the latest firm to join the nationwide SAFEagent campaign aimed at protecting tenants’ and landlords’ money.

All letting agents trading under Sequence, including 11 local brands like Barnard Marcus, William H Brown and Fox & Sons, will now carry the SAFEagent mark. This will enable tenants to immediately see that their money is protected.

Over 1,200 lettings and management offices are already registered with SAFE, which also has the backing of industry and consumer organisations such as the Residential Landlords Association, Shelter, CAB, British Property Federation, The Property Ombudsman and the Council of Mortgage Lenders.

Stephen Nation, divisional managing director for Sequence Lettings, said: “We are delighted to endorse SAFEagent which is a simple and straightforward way for consumers to see that a firm is part of a money protection scheme.
