Alpha Bridging has revealed plans to build a national sales team after recruiting business development manager Stuart Pedersen, to work alongside Narinder Khattoare, its head of business development.

Pedersen spent the past seven years in sales development roles including stints at specialist lenders Borro and Funding Circle.

Mercedez Binning, managing director of Alpha Bridging, said the business was set on a year of controlled expansion that includes the provision of a team to engage with advisers across the UK.

She said: “We are delighted to welcome Stuart to the Alpha Bridging family and look forward to him bringing his expertise to bear in helping us grow our business. We are looking on 2015 as a huge opportunity to project the Alpha message which concentrates on helping intermediaries and their clients with those cases which have created difficulty for other lenders, but which we can consider favourably and at the same time deliver funds at a speed which has already impressed so many of our existing introducers.”

Pedersen said: “Alpha Bridging has made an impressive debut through the intermediary channel and I am looking forward to helping them build their presence in the market.

“I have built up relationships with many adviser firms and look forward to taking the Alpha Bridging proposition to them in 2015.”
