Y3S helps Shawbrook complete largest loan

Shawbrook Bank

Shawbrook Bank has completed on a £330,000 secured loan, its largest to date.

The application was received and packaged by Anita Mattson at Y3S Loans in Cardiff.

The money was used to fund an extensive home improvement project on a property valued at £2.75 million in a well-established area in the South East of England.

The case was introduced by a mortgage broker in Amersham who was unable to find a suitable remortgage for his client that did not affect his current arrangements despite a low loan-to-value and a dependable source of self-employed income. The application completed 29 days after it was introduced to Y3S.

“We are delighted to have worked with Y3S on this case on helping the client raise additional finance to fund their home improvements without having to touch their existing mortgage,” said Maeve Ward, head of sales at Shawbrook Bank.

“Our experienced team worked closely with Y3S to understand the client’s situation and find the best solution”.”

Matt Cottle, director at Y3S, added: “The completion of this loan is testament to the one-size-doesn’t-fit-all attitude to lending that Shawbrook consistently demonstrates.

“It’s because of this sensible approach that we always go to Shawbrook first with unusual cases that have real merit, but do not fit the normal criteria; we know that a rapid lending decision will be made at the highest level.”
