Specialist mortgage broker Word On The Street has appointed Samuel Bryce as mortgage operations manager.

Bryce (pictured) joins the firm with seven years’ experience in the mortgage and lending industry.

He moves to Word On The Street from MS Lending Group, where he held a number of roles, including business processor, case manager and, most recently, underwriter.

Bryce began his career at specialist lender Together, where he first worked with Michael Street, founding partner of Word On The Street.

He was nominated for “Underwriter of the Year” at the B&C Awards in both 2024 and 2025. In 2025, he was awarded “Highly Commended” status.

Jack Medlicott, partner at Word On The Street, said: “We’re very intentional about the people we bring into the business; every addition to the team has to raise the standard. Sam absolutely does that.

“Our culture is built around raising the bar, accountability, and a genuine commitment to delivering for our clients. Sam is a great fit for that environment and reflects the level of talent and attitude we want across the business.”

Bryce added: “I’m delighted to be joining Word On The Street and excited for the opportunity ahead. I’ve known Michael, Jasmine, and Jack for a long time and have a huge amount of respect for the business they’re building, their values, and their ambition.

“After five great years in my previous role, this feels like the right next step, and I’m looking forward to contributing to the team’s continued growth.”
