Walsham Brothers appoints Omni Protect as first distribution partner

Walsham Brothers has appointed Fintel’s whole-of-market protection club Omni Protect as its first distribution partner.

The agreement follows Beagle Street’s announcement two weeks ago that Omni Protect would be the founding distribution partner for its launch into the adviser market.

Adviser firms using Omni Protect will gain access to Walsham Brothers’ mortgage payment protection insurance range, which is designed to cover a policyholder’s mortgage payments for up to two years in the event of accident, sickness or unemployment.

The range requires no medical underwriting and offers flexible cover, while premiums do not increase with age or following a valid claim.

Emma Vaughan (pictured), managing director of Omni Protect, said: “At Omni Protect, we listen to advisers and respond to what their clients need. Mortgage payment protection remains an important conversation, and Walsham Brothers offers a simple solution that can make a real difference when support is needed most.

“Walsham Brothers will be warmly welcomed to the Omni Protect proposition, as our adviser firms work tirelessly to ensure their clients have trusted, holistic protection in place and, most importantly, improved peace of mind.”

Jamie Leong of Walsham Brothers said: “We are delighted to be joining the Omni Protect panel as our first distribution partner. This is an important milestone for Walsham Brothers and significantly broadens our reach to advisers and their clients seeking high-quality insurance protection solutions, particularly accident, sickness and, uniquely, unemployment cover.

“Omni Protect shares our commitment to supporting advisers with simple, accessible products that deliver real value to customers. We look forward to building a successful long-term relationship and helping more homeowners protect what matters most.”

Omni Protect said the appointment formed part of its efforts to give advisers access to a broader range of protection products, as well as development support, training, technology and provider relationships.
