The Mortgage Hut adopts Instamo tool to speed up mortgage applications

Published on

The Mortgage Hut has introduced Instamo’s FastSubmit technology to reduce the amount of manual data entry involved in submitting mortgage cases to lenders.

The system is now live with advisers at the brokerage and is designed to populate decisions in principle and full mortgage applications using information already held within a case.

Rather than rekeying client details into individual lender portals, advisers and administrators can use FastSubmit as a layer between their existing systems and lender platforms.

The Mortgage Hut is using the technology alongside Finplan, with case information extracted from its CRM through a PDF of the fact find and then transferred into FastSubmit.

Instamo says its system can reduce submission times by an average of 26 minutes per case and complete some elements of the process up to 10 times faster. It also said client information is not passed through an AI model as part of the submission process.

BROKER WORKFLOW

Nicola Schutrups, managing director at The Mortgage Hut, said: “Our advisers need tools that fit into how they already work, not another system to log into.

“Being able to pull data straight out of Finplan and push it into FastSubmit removes the manual rekeying that used to slow every case down, and it has already made a noticeable difference to how quickly we get cases in front of lenders.

“We were also reassured by how FastSubmit is built, with client data never passed to an AI model, so we get the speed without taking on unnecessary risk. It has been a straightforward rollout at The Mortgage Hut.”

Steve Rhodes, head of growth at Instamo, said: “The Mortgage Hut is one of the best known names in UK mortgage broking, so having their advisors choose FastSubmit is a real vote of confidence.

“We are looking forward to supporting The Mortgage Hut advisors as they get more cases in front of lenders, faster.”
