VouchedFor unveils enhanced membership as advisers adapt to AI-led search

Published on

VouchedFor has launched Verified+, a new membership tier aimed at helping financial advisers improve their online visibility as consumers increasingly use AI alongside traditional search engines to research financial advice.

The new enhanced membership has been developed in response to changing consumer behaviour and feedback from advisers, with a focus on helping firms better present their expertise, specialisms and client experience across online channels.

VouchedFor said the way consumers search for advisers is evolving, with AI-generated responses becoming an increasingly important part of the research process alongside conventional search results.

Verified+ introduces a range of new profile and marketing features, including AI-generated summaries based on verified client reviews, searchable expertise tags, adviser FAQs and articles, pinned client reviews, enhanced profile analytics and tools that convert client feedback into social media content.

The company said the additions are designed to help prospective clients understand more quickly which types of clients an adviser supports, their areas of expertise and why existing clients recommend them, regardless of how they begin their search.

Harriet Spurrell, head of customer success at VouchedFor, said: “The way people research financial advice is changing. Consumers are increasingly asking more detailed questions online and using AI tools alongside traditional search to help them understand their options before they choose an adviser.

“That means advisers need to communicate their expertise clearly, consistently and in ways that make it easy for prospective clients to understand the value they offer.

“Verified+ builds on the trust advisers have already established through verified client reviews, giving them additional tools to showcase their expertise, increase their visibility and help them stand out wherever prospective clients are researching financial advice.”

The launch builds on VouchedFor’s existing Verified membership, which allows advisers to collect verified client reviews and manage their online reputation. Existing Verified members will also gain access to new social media tools that transform client reviews into ready-to-share content to support a regular online presence.
