Virgin Money ups residential mortgage rates

Virgin Money will increase selected purchase and remortgage rates by as much as 0.30% on 4 September 2026.

The lender will raise two-year tracker rates for purchases by 0.10%, while its two-year and five-year fixed purchase rates will increase by 0.30%.

Ten-year fixed rates for purchasers will rise by 0.15%, with shared ownership fixed rates increasing by up to 0.30%.

For remortgage customers, Virgin Money will increase two-year and five-year fixed rates by up to 0.20%. Its 10-year fixed remortgage rates will rise by 0.20%.

Brokers seeking one of the affected products for a customer must submit the application by 8pm on 3 September 2026.
