Twenty7tec links Advice platform with ZeroKey to cut rekeying

Published on

Twenty7tec has integrated its Advice platform with ZeroKey in an effort to reduce the manual re-entry of client information by financial advice firms.

The integration connects Advice with ZeroKey’s browser extension, allowing client data to be transferred between the platform and compatible third-party systems without advisers repeatedly entering the same details.

Twenty7tec said the connection should reduce administration, improve data accuracy and give advisers more time to work with clients. Manual data entry can increase firms’ operating costs, while errors may cause delays and require further administrative work.

The company said one firm using ZeroKey had pre-populated 167 investment applications in six months, avoiding the manual entry of more than 50,000 characters of client data. Based on Defaqto’s reported manual rekeying error rate of 4%, ZeroKey estimated that this had prevented 2,004 potential errors.

Across its wider user base, ZeroKey said its browser extension had transferred about 1.5 million characters that would otherwise have been entered manually. Applying the same benchmark, it estimated that 60,000 potential data-entry errors had been avoided.

Twenty7tec said the integration formed part of its strategy to build a configurable technology ecosystem around Advice. The platform is intended to let firms connect their chosen systems within a single workflow, reducing duplicate administration and incorporating compliance processes into day-to-day operations.

Adam Newman (pictured), head of sales at Twenty7tec, said: “The ZeroKey integration is another step in Twenty7tec’s commitment to helping advice firms create connected, configurable technology ecosystems that reduce friction, improve efficiency and allow advisers to spend more time where it matters most: with their clients.”

Joseph Williams, chief executive and founder at ZeroKey, said: “A lack of integration between the systems advisers want to use is a major industry pain point, and one that is often overlooked because developing point-to-point integrations is unscalable.

“We are therefore delighted to integrate with Twenty7tec’s ADVICE CRM and add them as a source of data within ZeroKey. In doing so, we have immediately created connections between ADVICE and third-party systems that did not previously exist.

“Those using ADVICE can now reduce the rekeying involved in everyday tasks – for example, when adding a new client to their chosen investment platform – which in turn helps minimise the potential for keying errors.”

WEBINAR PLANNED

Twenty7tec will demonstrate the integration during a live webinar from 11am to 11.20am on Thursday, July 30. The session will include a product demonstration, examples for Advice CRM users and questions for the product team.
