Together completes 1,000th Networks & Clubs channel case

Together has completed its 1,000th case through its Networks & Clubs channel, providing a shared ownership mortgage to a couple buying their first home.

The applicants secured a £51,000 first-charge repayment mortgage over a one-year term to buy an 18% share of a three-bedroom semi-detached property in Hereford.

The standard-construction home has a market value of £300,000, supported by a full valuation. The couple are purchasing their stake, valued at £54,000, under a shared ownership arrangement with a housing association.

Together said the mortgage represented a loan-to-value of 17% against the property’s full market value.

Tanya Elmaz, managing director of intermediaries at Together, said: “Reaching 1,000 Networks & Clubs completions is a fantastic milestone for Together and demonstrates the strength of the relationships we have built with brokers across the UK.

“This case is a great example of how we can support aspiring homeowners who may be taking their first step onto the property ladder through alternative routes such as shared ownership.

“At Together, we understand that every customer’s circumstances are different. By taking a common-sense approach to lending and looking at each case on its own merits, we’re able to help more people achieve their property goals.”
