TMA to hold nationwide conferences

Published on

TMA is holding a number of mortgage roadshows for directly authorised (DA) advisers in four UK locations during April.

The 2016 spring DA conferences, which will include podium presentations, roundtable presentations and an exhibition, are signed to provide advisers to discover new ways to develop, manage and grow their business and will also offer ideas to help expand their product offering and client bank.

At the events, which run from 9am till 1.30pm, advisers will have the opportunity to get their questions answered from a host of mainstream and niche lenders.  Will Hale at Key Retirement and Roger Morris at Precise will be speaking alongside David Copland and Kay Leslie at LSL who will offer a mortgage market update and a detailed compliance and regulatory overview.

As well as being informed of the latest provider, compliance and lender updates, advisers will also hear about new ways to help increase their income while improving their market knowledge and expertise.  These events can be used towards their annual CPD requirements.

The roadshows will take place at the following times and venues this month:

  • Wednesday 13 April – Manchester, Mere Golf Club
  • Thursday 14 April – Midlands, Motorcycle Museum
  • Tuesday 19 April – London, Hilton Watford
  • Thursday 21 April – South Gloucestershire, Tortworth Court

Gary Little (pictured), commercial director of TMA, said: “The roadshow will offer advisers the help and support they need to grow and manage their business in 2016 and beyond.  More specifically, the conferences aim to give advisers the chance to raise any concerns they may have and discuss any challenges they are having with lenders, protection product providers and other advisers at the conference.

“The conferences are just another way to ensure we are adding value to DAs and we hope advisers leave the conferences with new business ideas, as well as a renewed, fresh approach that will ultimately help their business to grow.”
