Together has added further experience to its broker-facing team, with Annie Crust bringing more than 25 years in the mortgage market, including over two decades focused on specialist lending.

She joins from Hampshire Trust Bank, where she worked as a regional account manager supporting Midlands-based brokers and networks with complex cases and structuring requirements.

Crust (pictured) has also held senior roles across the sector, including national sales manager at MT Finance, and earlier positions spanning both advisory and lending environments.

In her new role, she will focus on developing relationships with key intermediary partners, supporting brokers with specialist lending solutions and helping them place more complex cases.

Crust said: “Having spent many years working as a broker, I’ve seen first-hand what both good and bad relationship managers look like.

“That experience has shaped how I approach this role, and I’m passionate about building strong, supportive partnerships with brokers that genuinely help them place business and help their clients achieve their property ambitions.

“I also have a lot of admiration for the business. Together is well known for spotting opportunities that others shy away from and that boldness was part of the attraction for me.

“This boldness isn’t just illustrated by their products but by the people behind the products. Being part of Tanya and Maeve’s team is an absolute privilege.

“After many years reporting into London, I’m also delighted that this role means I’m now ‘just around the corner’

“Even more special to me is the fact that Together was one of the very first loans I ever sold as a broker when I was at The Mortgage Point as a graduate trainee all those years ago – in many ways it feels like coming home.”

The appointment forms part of Together’s ongoing investment in its intermediary proposition, with a focus on ensuring brokers have access to experienced relationship managers who understand the increasing complexity of borrower requirements.

Maeve Ward, intermediary sales director – personal finance at Together, added: “Annie’s breadth of experience across the broker and lender worlds gives her a unique perspective on what intermediaries need from their lending partners.

“After a lengthy career on the other side of the desk, we are delighted to welcome her to Together. Her deep understanding of the specialist market and her passion for building long-term broker relationships will make her a fantastic addition to our team.”
