Uinsure secures exclusive Lloyds Bank General Insurance panel deal for advisers

Published on

Uinsure has added Lloyds Bank General Insurance to its home insurance panel in an exclusive agreement for the mortgage intermediary market, expanding insurer choice and underwriting capacity for advisers across the UK.

The agreement means advisers using the Uinsure platform will be able to access Lloyds Bank General Insurance (LBGI) home insurance products through an intermediary route that is unavailable elsewhere in the mortgage market.

The additional underwriting capacity is available for properties in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, increasing the range of cover options available to advisers when sourcing home insurance for clients.

Uinsure said the addition strengthens its existing multi-insurer panel, broadening the choice of insurers available while supporting competitive pricing for both new business and renewals.

Martin Schultheiss (pictured), group managing director at Uinsure, said: “We’re redesigning how home insurance is offered in the UK alongside our adviser and insurer partners, and we pride ourselves on building strong relationships that help everyone we work with achieve their goals.

“LBGI joins some of the biggest insurance brands in the UK on our panel, and we’re delighted to have insurers of this calibre and scale available right across our intermediary distribution.

“It’s a real positive for our partners and their clients, and a sign of the strength of the relationships we’re building across the market.

“The fact this capacity also sits exclusively with Uinsure in the intermediary market reflects the confidence insurers across the market have in us.

“We’ll keep investing in pricing, data and technology to support every one of our insurer partners and the advisers we work with, helping them achieve their goals and aspirations.”

Jeremy Ward, managing director, insurance at Lloyds Bank, said: “We’re really pleased to be joining Uinsure’s panel and making our home insurance available to even more advisers and their clients.

“Buying a house can be one of life’s biggest moments, so having straightforward access to quality cover matters.

“Uinsure has built a strong position as a trusted partner for advisers, and we’re excited to be working together to help more customers protect the place they call home.”
