The Source introduces broker-facing CPD content hub

Published on

Source Insurance has launched its support mechanism ‘LearningLab’, designed to help brokers meet the new CPD requirements of the recently enforced Insurance Distribution Directive.

LearningLab was developed following October’s introduction of the new Insurance Distribution Directive, which outlined the requirement for 15 hours CPD to be completed by all those who work within an insurance business.

The Source said brokers can expect to access snippets of monthly-updated video content, as well as corresponding eBooks and guides to help build their knowledge on an array of topics relating to protection sales.

Following completion, brokers can download an electronic certificate for storage as and how they wish.

The insurance firm said the initiative “aligns perfectly” with the team’s goal to deliver on-going support to brokers whose businesses include a general insurance offering, breaking down barriers to conversion, and increasing competence with advised sales.

The hub is now accessible to all registered brokers via the Source platform.
