The Right Mortgage sets out September roadshow programme

Published on

The Right Mortgage will hold five member roadshows across England and Wales in September for firms in its Mortgage & Protection Network and The Right DA Club.

The events, held under the theme “The Power of Advice”, will provide regulatory and market updates, keynote presentations and roundtable sessions, as well as opportunities for advisers to meet lenders, providers and other partners.

The programme will begin in Newport on 22 September, followed by Manchester on 23 September, York on 24 September, Solihull on 29 September and Cobham on 30 September.

Each roadshow will open with a welcome and regulatory update from Aidan McCarthy, head of regulatory training at The Right Mortgage. Chetwood Bank will deliver a keynote presentation at all five events, while Acre will also present at each venue.

Roundtable sessions will cover mortgage lending, protection and other areas of the advice market. Time will also be set aside for advisers to speak to exhibitors and other attendees.

Businesses taking part across the five locations will include Acre, Atom Bank, Aviva, Guardian, Shepherds Friendly, Scottish Widows, LV=, Movin’ Legal, Affirmative, Source, Chorley Building Society, Paragon, Santander, The Right Referral Service, Cambridge Building Society, Fleet Mortgages, West Brom, Chetwood Bank, Furness Building Society, Swansea Building Society, The Nottingham, West Brom Building Society, Zurich, Kensington, Keystone Property Finance and Zephyr Home Loans.

Nicola Ventrella (pictured), operations director of The Right Mortgage & Protection Network, said: “The theme for our September roadshows is ‘The Power of Advice’, which reflects just how important the adviser continues to be to clients across mortgages, protection and the wider financial services market.

“These events are designed to give our members information and direct access to lenders, providers and partners, while also helping them keep up to date with the regulatory and market changes affecting their businesses and clients.

“Our roadshows continue to be an important part of the support we provide to firms across both the Network and The Right DA Club, particularly because they allow us to take that support directly to advisers in different parts of the country.

“We have another strong programme for September and we are looking forward to bringing members together across all five locations to share knowledge, discuss opportunities and hear directly from a wide range of experts and partners.”

Advisers can register through the TRM Adviser Site or by contacting the Adviser Support team.
