The Beverley joins Brilliant Solutions mortgage club panel

Beverley Building Society has joined the Brilliant Solutions Mortgage Club lender panel in a move aimed at widening broker access to its manually underwritten mortgage proposition.

The partnership will give intermediaries using Brilliant Solutions access to Beverley’s approach to lending, which focuses on assessing individual borrower circumstances rather than relying solely on automated decisioning.

The society said the arrangement reflected a shared emphasis on clarity, accessibility and practical underwriting for borrowers whose cases may not fit standard criteria.

Beverley Building Society’s proposition includes lending into and through retirement, self and custom build, multigenerational living and non-standard income cases.

It also offers interest-only options with flexible repayment strategies, as well as support for self-employed applicants and contractors. Each case is assessed on its own merits, with the society placing emphasis on broker collaboration and individual judgement.

Stu Bryce (main picture), head of new business at Beverley Building Society, said: “We’re delighted to be launching with Brilliant Solutions and expanding our support for brokers who value sensible conversations and real underwriting.

“This partnership is about giving intermediaries confidence that complex cases will be understood properly, with decisions made by people, not computers.”

Michael Craig, Briliant Solutions

Michael Craig, managing director at Brilliant Solutions, added: “We’re pleased to welcome Beverley Building Society to our mortgage club lender panel.

“Their experience with complex cases, self-build/custom builds and niche market lending with their practical common-sense underwriting makes the Society a great fit for our club members.

“It is great to work with lenders who support brokers in talking a deal through to understand the complexities of a case to find the best outcome for the client.”
