TFC’s lender portal now includes EPC ratings

Published on

TFC Homeloans has announced that it is now including Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) information on its sourcing platform.

The TFC lender portal – 1APP – underwrites cases against criteria rules which now includes the EPC rating.

Landlords will have to ensure that their properties have an EPC rating of band C or above, according to recent reports.

Wayne Smethurst, managing director at TFC Homeloans, said: “At TFC we are building a system that provides accurate placement on criteria and surety of decision as early in the process as possible.

“Finding products where the EPC may be crucial is part of the continuing improvements to our 1APP system.”
