Tesco Bank has added Royal and Sun Alliance (RSA) to its home insurance underwriting panel.

RSA will join Tesco Underwriting, AXA and Towergate.

Tesco Bank Home Insurance has a 5 star rating from Defaqto and offers unlimited building and £75,000 contents cover as standard. Customers with a Clubcard receive a £40 voucher when they buy contents and building insurance by 12/08/2014. All Clubcard customers receive a guaranteed Clubcard discount.

In addition, customers can tailor their policy to meet their needs by choosing from a number of optional extras such as Home Emergency and Bicycle Cover.

Karl Bedlow, managing director for insurance at Tesco Bank, said: “We are delighted to announce that RSA is joining our home insurance panel. All of our panel of insurers are chosen because they help us offer comprehensive cover at a competitive price.

“We are continuously seeking to improve our insurance offer and the addition of RSA will help us offer Tesco customers an even better deal.”
