StrideUp has reduced rates across its houses in multiple occupation (HMO) and multi-unit freehold block (MUFB) buy-to-let range while introducing a temporary enhanced procuration fee.
Rates have been cut across the Shariah-compliant home finance provider’s two-year and five-year fixed rental terms.
Brokers will receive a procuration fee of 0.75% on cases submitted directly to StrideUp, rising to 0.80% for business submitted through a network or club. The offer applies to submissions made by 31 August 2026.
The enhanced fee is available to all broker partners registered with the Financial Conduct Authority, whether or not they hold home purchase plan permissions.
The changes follow StrideUp’s recent expansion of its specialist lending criteria. The provider doubled its maximum HMO size to 12 bedrooms and its MUFB limit to 10 units.
Finance is available at up to 75% finance-to-value and up to £2.5 million for each property.
Rizwan Ali (pictured), director of sales & marketing at StrideUp, said: “We doubled our HMO and MUFB limits because brokers told us professional landlords had limited shariah-compliant routes at this scale.
“Cutting rates and enhancing the proc fee at the same time is deliberate, the client gets a lower price from StrideUp and the broker is better rewarded for the work these specialist cases involve.
“If you’ve got HMO or MUFB cases in the pipeline, this is a strong window to place them.”
