Sort Group has opened ticket sales for the second staging of its end-of-year event for professionals across the conveyancing and mortgage sectors.

The Sort Ball will return on 21 October 2026, with this year’s event moving to Derby, the company’s home city, and taking place at the Vaillant Live venue.

Sort Group said attendance is expected to be around twice the size of last year’s inaugural event, which was launched to bring together mortgage brokers, conveyancers and other property professionals for an evening of networking and industry recognition.

The 2026 event will feature a 1920s theme, with live performances planned throughout the evening.

The ball is being supported by Home Surveying, Mortgage Advice Bureau, Landmark Information Group and Kingsley Bond Solicitors.

Last year’s debut event featured performances from Heather Small, The Bootleg Beatles and Amba Strings: String Quartet.

Kevin Tunnicliffe, chief executive of Sort Group, said: “The response to the first Sort Ball exceeded all expectations. It showed just how valuable it is for professionals across the property and conveyancing sectors to come together in a relaxed environment to celebrate the industry and build meaningful connections.

“This year, we wanted to raise the bar even further. Moving the event to Derby allows us to welcome more guests and create an even more memorable experience.

“With incredible live entertainment, Sort Ball 2026 promises to be a fantastic evening for everyone involved in the industry.”

Sort Ball 2026 will begin at 6:30 pm and run until late. Tickets are now on sale.
