TMG reports record monthly MetLife submissions

TMG recorded its highest monthly submission volume with MetLife, exceeding its previous record by more than 40%.

MetLife confirmed that the latest monthly total was the highest achieved by TMG during the organisations’ partnership.

The increase was driven principally by the performance of MetLife’s Umbrella product, as well as greater engagement from advisers who met the insurer’s team at TMG’s mortgage and protection events in Rotherham and Watford earlier this year and at further events in July.

TMG said the result reflected the companies’ work to increase adviser engagement and support the protection market.

Scott Thorpe, chief executive of TMG Financial Services, said: “This is a fantastic result and a real reflection of the great work our advisors do every day.

“Reaching a new record is never down to one thing, it comes from advisers who know their clients, take the time to find the right protection solution, and keep raising the bar for the whole network.

“The engagement we saw at our Rotherham and Watford events, and again in July, shows just how much appetite there is out there.

“We’re proud to work with MetLife, whose team have been genuinely committed to supporting our advisers, and we’re looking forward to building on this together in the months ahead.”
