Sort Group says its new podcast series is attracting strong interest from across the property sector as it seeks to encourage discussion around the future of conveyancing.

The Derby-based property services group launched The Next Move in Conveyancing on 14 April, with the series hosted by chief executive Kevin Tunnicliffe.

The podcast brings together property professionals to discuss issues affecting the conveyancing sector, including transaction times, customer expectations, industry collaboration and the role of technology.

Three episodes have been released to date and are available via YouTube, Spotify and Apple Podcasts.

The opening episode featured Kevin Tunnicliffe and Sort Group managing director Keith Ahmed, who discussed the launch of the podcast and the changes they hope to help drive across the property sector.

Subsequent guests have included Louise Stephens-Pantoja, head of operations at LPL, who examined how closer collaboration between estate agents, conveyancers and mortgage brokers could improve the home moving process.

Sam Cerrone of Midlands estate agency Cerrone Estates also joined the podcast to discuss the future of the property market, including ways to make the transaction process easier for homebuyers and sellers to understand.

HONEST CONVERSATIONS

According to Sort Group, the series has already generated significant interest, with a number of senior industry figures expressing an interest in appearing on future episodes.

Tunnicliffe (pictured) said: “The goal of The Next Move in Conveyancing is simple: bring the industry’s leaders together to have honest conversations about the challenges they face and what we can collectively do to drive real, positive change, for clients and conveyancers alike.”

“I feel we are really starting to be the change we want to see and to open the doors in the industry for us all to discuss openly what we can improve on to make buying a home that bit more seamless.”

The launch comes as the property industry continues to focus on ways to improve efficiency, reduce delays and create a smoother experience for buyers and sellers.
