Simplybiz sets out August training programme for mortgage advisers

Published on

Simplybiz Mortgages has announced a month-long programme of online training for mortgage advisers and their support teams.

The sixth annual Summer of Learning will take place throughout August, with technical and best-practice sessions covering specialist and later-life lending, buy-to-let and general insurance.

The programme will also include sessions created for staff who provide back-office support to advisers.

Contributors will include experts from the Simplybiz Mortgages team, Air, Legal & General Home Finance, CHL Mortgages, Coventry Building Society, Source, Skipton Building Society, Aldermore, Family Building Society, Darlington Building Society, Keystone Property Finance and Accord Mortgages.

Phil Daffern (pictured), head of lender relations at Simplybiz Mortgages, said: “School may be out for summer, but our experience over the past six years has taught us there’s still significant demand for educational and development opportunities amongst our membership during August.

“Whether advisers want to refresh their knowledge of best practice, support their admin team, gain valuable CPD, or explore more specialist areas such as buy-to-let and later life lending, there’s something for everyone, delivered through short, insightful sessions.

“Our lender partners are always incredibly supportive, and over the years we’ve hosted some truly thought-provoking and engaging sessions.

“This year will be no exception, and we’re looking forward to bringing another great Summer of Learning to our members.”
