SearchFlow has become the first search intermediary to connect to the next-generation National Land Information Service and complete end-to-end testing.
The milestone comes ahead of the planned launch of Next Gen NLIS in March 2027 and provides an early demonstration of the platform’s readiness.
SearchFlow, part of Landmark Information Group, is a longstanding channel of the existing NLIS Hub. Other search intermediaries and data providers are expected to complete onboarding and testing as the programme progresses.
Next Gen NLIS is intended to improve access to trusted land and property data by connecting local authorities, search intermediaries and property professionals through a modern digital platform.
TRUSTED PROPERTY DATA
Funded by the government’s Regulatory Innovation Office, the service is being built on the Land Data Trust Framework.
It will allow verified organisations to share data securely using common standards while retaining information about its provenance and original public-sector source.
The project supports the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government’s homebuying and selling reform roadmap, which identifies trusted data, interoperability and secure digital information sharing as central to reducing transaction times.

Land Data will continue working with intermediaries and data providers as it prepares for the phased adoption of the new platform.
