Raw Capital Partners joins L&G Mortgage Club panel

Guernsey-based specialist lender Raw Capital Partners has been added to the lender panel of L&G’s Mortgage Club, expanding access to its bridging loans and specialist mortgage products for intermediaries.

Raw Capital Partners has joined the panel of Legal & General’s Mortgage Club, enabling member firms to access its range of bespoke bridging loans and mortgages.

The lender, headquartered in Guernsey, has spent 10 years providing tailored mortgages to foreign nationals, UK expats and Channel Islanders investing in UK buy-to-let property. In December 2025 it widened its remit to include UK-resident borrowers.

Raw Capital lends to private individuals, trusts and corporate structures. Its product suite includes interest-only loans of up to 10 years on completed or near-completed residential property.

Individual loans range from £100,000 to £4 million, with up to £10 million available to a single counterparty and maximum loan-to-value of 70%.

The firm has recently introduced a series of product and underwriting changes, including fee-free overpayments across both UK-resident and non-UK-resident products, the use of Automated Valuation Models to accelerate early-stage decisions, and the option for overseas borrowers to service interest payments from a UK bank account.

These features will now be available to members of L&G’s Mortgage Club.

PANEL EXPANSION

L&G’s Mortgage Club marked its 30th anniversary last year, having completed £1.1 trillion of mortgages since 1995. The club is involved in almost one in four of all UK mortgages and close to one in three intermediated transactions.

Tim Parkes

Tim Parkes, chief executive officer of Raw Capital Partners, said: “At RAW Capital Partners, our entire proposition is based on our ability to take on cases that other lenders may shy away from.

“With the launch of our UK product two months ago, we’re able to work with an even broader range of brokers and borrowers, so now’s the perfect time to join L&G’s Mortgage Club lender panel.

“We’ve received a really positive response from brokers to the new products and enhancements that have been rolled in recent weeks, and I’m confident that the club’s members will find great value in our bespoke financial products.”

Greg Cunnington

Greg Cunnington, head of strategic accounts at L&G’s Mortgage Services business, added: “We’re committed to working with lenders who understand and adapt to our brokers and clients’ evolving needs.

“That’s why we’re delighted to welcome RAW Capital Partners to our lender panel, giving our members access to a range of flexible and bespoke products to support their customers.”
