Metro Bank strengthens specialist mortgage team

Metro Bank has expanded its specialist mortgage team with a series of appointments and promotions designed to strengthen broker relationships and support continued lending growth.

The changes include an expanded role for Charles Morley (main picture), who will now oversee the entire mortgage journey after being appointed Director of Mortgage Distribution, Operations and Servicing.

The move brings mortgage distribution, operations and servicing under a single leadership structure, covering the process from initial broker enquiry through to completion and redemption.

The lender said the changes are intended to enhance service delivery and create a more joined-up experience for intermediary partners and borrowers.

The appointments come as lenders continue to invest in intermediary-facing teams amid growing competition for specialist lending business and increasing demand for complex case expertise.

END-TO-END JOURNEY

Charles Morley said: “Our mortgage team is focused on building strong relationships and delivering for our clients.

“We’re able to provide a complete, end-to-end customer journey, combined with a shared commitment for excellent service and delivery at every point.”
