PM Data Services adds upgrades to BTL sourcing platform

Published on

PM Data Services has rolled out a series of upgrades to its Genie sourcing platform aimed at helping brokers navigate the increasingly complex buy-to-let market more efficiently.

The latest enhancements introduce new comparison tools, advanced filtering and an updated results layout, as brokers continue to face pressure to deliver faster and more transparent advice in a higher-rate environment.

Genie combines lender pricing, criteria and lender-specific affordability calculations within a single sourcing platform, targeting advisers and smaller intermediary firms operating in the buy-to-let space.

The update includes a new table-based results view alongside the platform’s existing tile layout, allowing brokers to sort products more easily by rate, fees and monthly payments.

CLIENT RECOMMENDATIONS

A new side-by-side comparison tool also enables advisers to assess up to three products simultaneously, helping brokers compare affordability, fees and overall borrowing costs more clearly when presenting recommendations to clients.

PM Data Services has also introduced a dedicated “No ERCs” filter, designed to help advisers quickly identify products without early repayment charges for borrowers prioritising flexibility.

The enhancements build on Genie’s existing affordability and criteria-matching functionality, alongside client-ready evidence packs designed to demonstrate product suitability.

Angus Stewart, chief executive officer at PM Data Services, said: “Genie was built to remove the complexity and time burden from Buy-to-Let sourcing. These latest enhancements are a direct response to broker feedback – giving advisers more control over how they view results, compare options and refine their searches.”

He added: “Whether it’s quickly identifying the most competitive deals, demonstrating suitability to clients, or focusing on products with specific features like no ERCs, Genie continues to evolve to support brokers in delivering faster, smarter advice.”

The new features are now live for existing users at no additional cost.

Genie is available via monthly or annual subscription, with pricing starting from £20 per month following a 30-day free trial.
