Pepper Advantage names Wye as UK chief

Published on

Pepper Advantage has appointed Matthew Wye as CEO of its UK business, effective from October 2026 and subject to regulatory approval.

Wye will lead the company’s expanding credit management operations, including the mortgage servicing business acquired from Computershare earlier this year.

He joins from Metro Bank, where he is managing director of future bank delivery, and brings more than 20 years of credit and financial services experience.

Aaron Milburn, the current CEO of Pepper Advantage UK, will move into the newly created position of managing director of credit access.

CREDIT MANAGEMENT EXPANSION

Wye has previously served as director of lending operations and head of lending and securities at Metro Bank.

His earlier career includes senior roles at Crown Mortgage Management and Barclays Bank, with experience spanning credit management, lending operations, digital banking and client services.

Pepper Advantage plans to expand its capabilities across the credit lifecycle by onboarding new client portfolios and further integrating the mortgage servicing operation acquired from Computershare.

The business will also continue embedding PRISM, its proprietary credit management technology platform, across its UK operations to improve efficiency and service delivery.

Fraser Gemmell, Group CEO at Pepper Advantage, said: “The integration of the mortgage servicing business we acquired from Computershare has given us scale and, with Matthew onboard, we have the opportunity to transform our combined business in a meaningful way.”

CLIENT RELATIONSHIPS

In his new position, Milburn will lead business development and the expansion of Pepper Advantage’s relationships with new and existing clients.

He and Wye will work together to pursue new business and identify opportunities that use the company’s wider UK infrastructure.

Gemmell added: “Having Aaron as our managing director for Credit Access will allow us to leverage our wider capabilities to bring a more diverse offering to new and existing clients.

“Together, he and Matt will lead our team in the UK as we pursue the significant opportunities ahead.”

Wye said: “Pepper Advantage combines exceptional people, a genuine technological edge and the scale to make a significant impact in this market.

“The UK credit management landscape is evolving rapidly and I’m excited to join a dynamic business at such a pivotal moment.”
