Paradigm bolsters leadership team

Paradigm Mortgage Services has made a series of senior appointments including a new head of sales as it looks to accelerate growth across its mortgage, protection and compliance offering.

The firm has appointed Louise Weiss (main picture, inset) as head of sales, with responsibility for driving membership growth and shaping strategy across its core intermediary services.

She joins with immediate effect and will report into managing director Richard Howes, taking on oversight of partnership managers and business development directors, alongside responsibility for hitting growth and income targets.

The move forms part of a wider shake-up of the senior leadership team, with Paradigm also promoting two long-standing employees into expanded roles focused on commercial performance and operational insight.

Tom Hunt has been promoted to the newly-created role of commercial director, where he will lead on commercial strategy, lender relationships and proposition development, while Daniel Davenport steps into the role of business insights and team manager, overseeing performance analytics and key support functions including commissions and protection services.

Weiss joins from Bank of Ireland UK, where she was national partnership manager, working across sales, distribution and marketing to grow intermediary relationships and market share. She has also been involved in mentoring initiatives across the sector, including work with UK Business Mentoring and Working in Mortgages.

Howes said: “We are delighted to welcome Louise to Paradigm and to promote both Tom and Daniel, three appointments that reflect both the strength of our business and our ambitions for continued growth.

“Louise brings a strong track record across distribution, partnerships and proposition development, and her leadership will be key as we continue to evolve our mortgage, protection and compliance offering.

“Tom’s expanded role recognises the impact he has already made within the business and the important part he will play in shaping our commercial strategy going forward.

“These changes further strengthen our senior leadership team and support our focus on growing our presence across the market, deepening our partner relationships and making full use of the wider capabilities within the whole Group.”

GROWTH PLANS

Weiss added: “I’m absolutely delighted to have joined Paradigm Mortgage Services at such an exciting time for the business. I look forward to working closely with our members, partners and my new colleagues to build on the strong foundations already in place and help drive the next phase of growth.”
