OneFamily expands lifetime mortgage support teams

OneFamily has added two new underwriters and three mortgage processors to its lifetime mortgage support teams

The new underwriters are Christine White and Lisa Green.

Green joins OneFamily with 25 years’ experience in financial services, including most recently five years in equity release underwriting with Partnership and Just Retirement. Prior to this she spent six years as a mortgage underwriter for Optoma Broker Solutions.

White has also spent five years at Just Retirement in equity release underwriting. Prior to this she was a medical underwriter for Partnership and worked in mainstream mortgage underwriting for 16 years at Nationwide.

The processing team has welcomed Karen Welch, Lucy Donaldson and Louise Fuller, all of whom have extensive customer service experience for both adviser and consumer audiences.

The newly appointed members to the teams will help to support advisers with any underwriting or technical queries.

Nici Audhlam-Gardiner, managing director of lifetime mortgages, said: “We are delighted to welcome so many new people to our lifetime mortgage support teams, the experience they bring will enhance the service we provide to advisers.

“As the lifetime mortgage market continues to evolve so does the way homeowners are using equity release, from low-income pensioners, to those who want a change in lifestyle, to planners trying to mitigate inheritance tax.

“By increasing the number of team members with expertise in both traditional mortgages as well as lifetime mortgages, we can support an even broader range of cases and ensure that advisers are getting the information they need.”
