Omni Mortgage Club has added Monmouthshire Building Society to its lender panel, giving its directly authorised adviser firms access to the mutual’s products.
Omni, Fintel’s whole-of-market mortgage proposition, said it was the first mortgage club to make the society’s range available to its member firms.
The Newport-based building society lends up to age 85 and offers mortgages at up to 95% loan-to-value on new-build houses and flats. Its maximum loan is £2 million.
Monmouthshire will consider income multiples of up to five times earnings, rising to 5.5 times for professionals. It can also accept 100% of overtime, shift allowances and commission income.
Phil Daffern (pictured), head of lender relations at Omni Mortgage Club, said: “I’m delighted that Omni Mortgage Club has been selected as Monmouthshire’s partner for its launch to the broker market, and we are looking forward to building a long and supportive relationship, with plenty of benefits for our member firms.
“In addition to its proud 150-year legacy of client-centric solutions, I was hugely impressed by Monmouthshire’s dedication to an excellent broker experience, with both telephone and field-based BDM teams, and support at every step of the application process.”
Caroline Mitchell, mortgage distribution manager at Monmouthshire Building Society, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Omni Mortgage Club as the first mortgage club to join our new broker platform, Origo.
“As the first lender to launch on Omni Mortgages Club’s panel, this marks an important milestone for both organisations and reflects our share commitment to strengthening relationships with the intermediary market.
“We hope our partnership will create new opportunities for brokers and their clients through improved access, smoother processes and continued support. We’re excited to work alongside Omni Mortgage Club as we continue to grow our proposition and look forward to continuing to work together.”
