New chairman of CML Northern Ireland

The CML has announced that Derek Wilson, head of lending products at Ulster Bank, has been appointed the new chairman of CML Northern Ireland.

He replaces Jay Colville of Nationwide Building Society.

Wilson has been with Ulster Bank for over 30 years and this is his second time in office as chairman of CML Northern Ireland, having also held the position in 2006.

He said: “I look forward to building upon the good work of my predecessor
