NBS unveils new five-year deal

The Newcastle Building Society (NBS) has launched a direct-only five-year fixed rate mortgage.

The 4.45% fixed rate product (APR 5.6%) is available with a maximum LTV of 80%.

It comes with free legal fees for re-mortgage customers (or a cashback alternative for house purchase customers) and a free standard valuation on properties up to £500,000.

It has a £195 reservation fee and a £800 completion fee.
