My Legal Club has appointed three law firms to its conveyancing panel as it looks to provide mortgage brokers and estate agents with a wider choice of legal services and dedicated transaction support.
Mason Thomas Law, Bookers & Bolton Solicitors and Gilroy Steel Solicitors have joined the platform, with My Legal Club placing particular emphasis on the experience, accessibility and capacity of individual conveyancers rather than relying solely on firms’ reputations.
The additions bring together three practices with different areas of expertise, ranging from specialist property transactions and limited company buy-to-let to established residential conveyancing services.
THREE FIRMS JOIN PANEL
Sheffield-based Mason Thomas Law was established in 2019 and specialises in residential and commercial property work, including auctions, new-build transactions and secured lending.
The firm, which has a five-star Google rating, provides clients with direct access to the conveyancer managing their transaction. Mollie and Jo will act as contacts for My Legal Club’s mortgage broker and estate agent partners, with the practice also offering competitive pricing for limited company buy-to-let cases through the platform.
Bookers & Bolton Solicitors, based in Alton, Hampshire, has operated for more than 100 years. The practice combines conveyancing technology with an approach that limits individual caseloads to maintain service standards.
It holds a 4.9 out of five rating on ReviewSolicitors from more than 400 reviews. Cindy Dando, who has an individual five-star rating on the platform, will provide a dedicated point of contact for instructions received through My Legal Club.
Gilroy Steel Solicitors joins with an established presence in the mortgage intermediary and estate agency markets. The firm has won Best Conveyancing Services at the What Mortgage Awards for four consecutive years, including 2026.
It also has a 4.7 out of five rating on ReviewSolicitors, based on more than 1,600 reviews.
FOCUS ON INDIVIDUAL CONVEYANCERS
Sean Rogers, director of My Legal Club, said the appointments reflected a broader approach to selecting conveyancing partners, with attention given to the people responsible for handling transactions.
He said: “For us, the chef is often more important than the restaurant. A law firm may have an outstanding reputation, but brokers and estate agents ultimately want to know who is actually looking after their client, how accessible that person will be and whether they have the capacity and expertise for that particular transaction.
“These three appointments give our partners three very different but extremely strong options. Mason Thomas impressed us enormously with its specialist property focus, accessibility and the opportunity for our partners to work closely with Mollie and Jo.
“Bookers & Bolton has deliberately built its model around manageable conveyancer caseloads and personal service, while combining that approach with excellent technology and client visibility.
“Gilroy Steel brings substantial scale, experience and an exceptional track record within the mortgage intermediary market, including four consecutive What Mortgage Awards.”
Rogers said the business intends to continue developing its panel around service standards and relationships between introducers and conveyancers.
He added: “We do not want to build a platform simply by adding law firm names. We want to identify firms and individual conveyancers that mortgage brokers and estate agents can develop genuine working relationships with.”
